On April 24-25, 2018 the president of France, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, has visited US, where he has met with Donald Trump in the White House.

The french president has finished his visit with an speech, in the House of Representatives.

President Macron has prounced an speech in the US House of Representatives.

There’s a friendship between the 2 Presidents because they both share common interests mainly in world’s security, as it was shown in the attack to Syria, on this year 2018.

Previous to the visit, First Lady, Mrs. Melania Trump, has supervised the preparations for this meeting in the White House.

Next days is expected the visit to the White House of German Chancellor, Ms. Angela Merckel.

It is expected them to talk about the risks of a trade war with the European Union.

This possible war on trade is due to the decision of Donald Trump’s administration to increase tariffs to the steel that comes from countries outside US.

This fact affects the international trade so US’s administration delays imposition of tariffs.

If you like the politics or the Administration in general you can look at WORLD LEADERS.

At this point, we have to remember the  importance of european countries in United States history.

For example, the Independence war (1775-1783) was helped by the royal king of France, Luis XVI.

The Statue of Liberty was a gift of people of France to the people of United States, made on October 28, 1886.

Historically, Spain has also a great importance in United States’ history, even more important than French one.

Cristobal Colon discovered the American continent in 1492. His travel was made with the support of spanish crown.

Today, there are many cities in United States that have an spanish name, a commemoration of his foundation by spanish discoverers.

How to recognize the cities founded by spanish discoverers?.

An easy clue to recognize is:

The cities that begin with “San” (San Diego, San Francisco,…) and many others which i will explain in another article in this web. Meanwhile, you can visit the History of North America in the web.
